The Instructor

Jeff Smith has taught programming classes (including Java) for several years in Florida and England and his articles on Java have been published by Java World, Developer.com, Developers Network Journal, and The Server Side. A list of his publications can be found here.

He is currently working on WRF Portal and Domain Wizard for the Advanced Computing Section (ACS) of the Aviation Branch (AB) of Global Systems Division (GSD) of Earth System Research Lab (ESRL). Whew!

The Core Java course material was written by Jeff and teaches the core concepts of Java as well as providing practical instruction in a number of specific Java areas. Class is held in GD309 (just around the corner from the fitness room).
